The United Methodist Men invite all men of the church to a breakfast meeting on the last Tuesday of each month. They gather for Christian fellowship, inspiring programs and share a common meal around the table. They also provide support for many mission projects in the congregation and in the surrounding community. They have purchased furniture and a piano for a local church and also support new churches through Kingdom Builders, a United Methodist program providing financial support to churches for building projects.

Our UMM also sponsors the Hope’s Helpers, a group of handimen who assist  with minor repairs on homes, church buildings and parsonages as needed. For more information, contact Julie Vann in the church office at 912.355.8527

This group also gathers for a monthly meeting the last Tuesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:00 AM. Each meeting offers a chance for all men of the church to share a breakfast meal and listen to a special program or speaker designed especially for men.

Letters From Dad

“If God were to take you home today…what would your wife and children hold in their hands tomorrow that would let them know that they were the treasures of your life? You are invited on a journey… a journey to leave a legacy of Faith, Hope and Love through the lost art of letter writing.

Learn to write the things you have always wanted to say but didn’t know how. Leave treasured letters of love that will be read long after you are gone. Learn to speak and write these Blessings to your family. Build deep and lasting relationships with other men in your Legacy Group.”

The men of Isle of Hope UMC are invited on a journey through the pages of Letters From Dad. We will discuss what we are leaving behind for our other loved ones. By joining our Legacy Group, you will be able to share these blessings with your family through letters that you write to your loved ones.
