Sunday School
Our church takes seriously the vows which are taken each time a baby is baptized. We promise to support the parents and help their child grow under the teachings and support of the Christian community. In keeping with our goal of providing for Christian growth through a caring and nurturing community, we encourage children ages 2 – 5th grade to become regular members of a Sunday School class.
Features of our Children’s program:
- A unified curriculum such as the Faith Weaver series.
- Age–appropriate lessons.
- Stories and fun activities to help students learn the Bible and apply its principles.
- Our kindergarten and 1st Graders use the Godly Play curriculum which uses the model of “wonder” to help children experience the pattern of worship.
- A team–teaching method that places 3 – 5 teachers in each class for a more personalized learning experience.
- A learning environment that offers the best equipment, resources and support staff.
Sunday Morning Praise
All children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade kick off the Sunday School hour singing praise in the Sanctuary with the Hope Band. They enjoy songs from This Little Light of Mine to Lord, I Lift Your Name on High. What a great way to begin worshipping each Sunday!
