Our Nursery Ministry is a growing ministry for the youngest members of our church. With five Nursery classes, we are able to serve children ages six weeks through two years.

The Nursery Committee is committed to providing a well supervised, loving, stimulating environment for fostering confidence in parents and a safe, secure, happy atmosphere for our children. We strive to help children associate church with love.

The Nursery Staff Members employed by IOHUMC are chosen with great care. They are committed to excellence in childcare. We strive to find quality caregivers that exhibit a loving, caring and cooperative spirit.
Division of Nurseries
Infants - 6 weeks until they are able to sit up independently (approximately 6 months)
Crawlers - Children who are able to sit up independently until they are able to walk (approximately 6-12 months)
Toddler I & II - Children who are walking to approximately 18-23 months
2-Year Olds - Children who turn two by September 1st, the beginning of the school year
First Things First
Our weekday program that provides everything a child needs for getting a great first start while giving parents a well-deserved morning off. This program is open to children ages 6 months to 2 years and meets from September thru May.
First Things First will have two different age classes:
Infants Class: age 6-12 months, will have 6 children with a teacher and an aide.
Toddlers Class: age 13 months – 2 years (turning two after September 1, 2009), will have 8 children with a teacher and an aide.
Hours of Operation: Tuesday/Thursday 9:00AM-12:00 Noon or Wednesday/Friday 9:00AM-12:00 Noon
Registration Fee: $150.00 due with registration form and is non-refundable
Supply Fee: $150.00 due at Parents Meeting in August
Monthly Tuition: $115.00 due at the first of each month
Registration for First Things First begins January 6, 2009 and will end as soon as classes are filled. There will be a Parents Meeting in late August.
