Stepping Stones Class

A class designed for young adults 20 to 30 something who are just out of college and are facing the working world. These times can be tough and this group is there for each other. This group uses a variety of curriculum from Bible study to current faith issues and is led by Bill and Val Bowers. Join this group as each seek to find out who they are in Christ.

College Sunday School Class

Elise Alexander will be facilitating a great curriculum, called “Young People Reviving Hope”, subtitled “Mission Education and Leadership Development Journal”, distributed by the General Board of Global Ministries. It’s based on and has several entries from the 2005 Wesleyan Identity and Social Responsibility Leadership Development Seminar held in Brazil. The chapters are: “Youth in Mission,” “Wesleyan Identity: Holiness in Heart and Life,” “Ecumenism,” “Diversity and Identity,” “Economic Justice”, “Human Rights”, and “Young People Make the Difference.”

The great thing about this curriculum is the internet hook-up through Skype with young adults in the Ukraine during the Sunday school hour. Come join us as we work on our global vision and revive our hope.  This class meets upstairs in the Green House under the care of Katherine Slagel.
