Kids For Christ is Isle of Hope United Methodist Church’s ministry to middle school students. This is a year round program offering Fellowship, Bible study, and food to our 6th, 7th and 8th graders. KFC meets September thru May; 4:30 – 7:00 PM in the Green House.

Each Sunday Morning, we offer Sunday School classes for each age group at 10:00 AM in the Green House.

Summer 2010

• KFC World Changers Mission Trip; July 5 – 10

This year, we will travel to Brunswick, Georgia to lend our skills in home repair. For completed 7th and 8th graders only. Cost: $200.00 plus Registration Form.

• Lake Junaluska; July 18 – 21

We will be returning to the mountains of North Carolina to tube the chilly Deep Creek, raft down the Pigeon River and enjoy worship time with Celia Whitler and her family. Don’t miss out on this wonderful time together. For completed 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Cost: $225.00 plus Registration Form.

• Traveling Tuesdays: June 22, 29, July 13, & August 3; 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Green House
• August 3rd KFC Green House Tuesday will be Pool Play at the Boaen’s. Meet at the Green House regular time 6:00PM. Pick up 8:00PM will be at the Boaen’s (6 Colonel Estil) on Isle of Hope
• Our last KFC summer outing will be Monday, August 9th. We will leave the Church at 10:30AM and return at 6:00PM. We will be living Rock Solid (Our Green House Tuesday Theme) on the ropes course at Epworth by the Sea! Cost $12.00 plus money for lunch. Sign up by Wednesday, August 4th (355-8527) so we can count on you to make the climb.

Join us as we share in a time of food and fellowship followed by games and Bible study. More details to come and no registration is necessary!
