Isle of Hope UMC is a Safe Sanctuary

United Methodist Churches have historically worked to assure that children in the community were cared for with food, clothing, education and an affirmation of value and self-worth. In many communities, The United Methodist Church  was the founding force to provide kindergarten for the children of the community, daycare centers for children of working parents, and Sunday schools were the children heard about God’s love and presence in daily life. Today, these traditions continue and provide a solid foundation from which we can address the need for prevention of all forms of child abuse.

Because over 3 million incidents of abuse are reported each year, it is the firm commitment of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church to ensure that every child, youth and vulnerable adult is safe under the shadow of the steeple.
