Family Promise Host Week
Join us in welcoming families into our Green House beginning Sunday, September 17th. Family Promise is a way for our congregation to provide much needed housing for families working out of a difficult time in their lives. Volunteers are needed to help cook dinner, host dinners (5:30-8:30 pm- not responsible for providing food), and staying overnight in the Green House while the families are present (8:30 pm – 7:00 am). If you and your family are available to help, please contact Joan Connelly at email@example.com.
*Note: All adults must have a Safe Sanctuaries training and Background check on record with the church office to participate.
Make a Difference Day
On Saturday, October 28th, Isle of Hope UMC will engage in a big day of service to our community. Specific projects are being planned as we speak, but there will be opportunities for the entire family to be involved. Work projects will be available both at the church and off campus, around Savannah. From making casseroles for those in need to helping to repair Wesley Community Center, there are many ways to get involved.
Check back for information on specific projects and how to sign up for them.
