Make a Difference Day
On Saturday, October 28th, Isle of Hope UMC will engage in a big day of service to our community. Specific projects are being planned as we speak, but there will be opportunities for the entire family to be involved. Work projects will be available both at the church and off campus, around Savannah. From making casseroles for those in need to helping to repair Wesley Community Center, there are many ways to get involved.
Check back for information on specific projects and how to sign up for them.
8:00 am- Donut and Coffee Breakfast

Early Response Team
If you are interested in helping with disasters like the hurricanes that have recently hit, consider coming to the Early Response Team (ERT) training on Saturday, November 4th at Wesley Gardens. Cost is $25 and covers an ERT t-shirt, ERT required name-badge, and lunch during the training. Safe Sanctuary training and background checks must be up to date (please call the church office to check your status). To register, go to www.sgaumc.org/erttrainings, choose the training at Wesley Monumental, and fill out the form. You can pay online or the day of the event. FYI, the training DOES NOT INCLUDE chainsaw training (instructors were unavailable). If you would like to have chainsaw training, there are three other trainings scheduled through the end of the year (all in South Georgia) that you can participate in. For more information, see Shannon Baxter.
