These Ministries Support the Shared Vision of Isle of Hope UMC
Your Child Will:
- CONNECT Relationally Grow Christian friendships
- EQUIP Effectively Learn Bible stories through song, drama, and movement
- PRAY Expectantly Understand that singing can be conversation with God
- SERVE Faithfully Develop artistic abilities as gifts to praise God and bless others
In choir, your child will learn basic music concepts, enjoy fun activities, develop singing techniques, and grow in faith in God. All music is chosen with the goal of leading our children to a growing faith in Jesus Christ. The age–appropriate music they learn will help them explore their gifts, talents and abilities while praising God through song. We have many well–trained volunteers who assist in our children’s choir ministry each week. Choirs are open to children in the church as well as the community.
The Twinklers Choir

The Twinklers may have one or two performances in the spring at a Wednesday Night Supper.
The Joyful Noise Choir
(Ages 4 by [9/1] and Kindergarten) led by Teri Akin
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 p.m., September-May.
This choir sings 1-2 times in worship and at Wednesday Night Supper in December and April.
Kids of the Kingdom
The choir sings in worship several times a year and presents a musical program at Wednesday Night Supper in the winter and spring. The members of the Kids of the Kingdom present a musical production every other year. This offers an opportunity for the children to experience fun and fellowship while learning about God’s love. The children present the musical to members of our church family as well as members of the community.
