Chancel Choir – Sing regularly in Sunday worship at 8:45 and 11:15 AM services. Rehearse on Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 PM. No audition required. Music reading ability helpful but not necessary.

Children’s Choir Accompanist – Play piano for one of the children’s choirs during rehearsals and performances. Pianists of varying abilities needed for various age levels. Ability to sight-read music helpful.

Children’s Choir Assistant – Help Children’s Choir Leader during rehearsals, taking attendance, monitoring the classroom, distributing handouts, etc.

Children’s Choir Leader – Direct one of the children’s choirs ages 3 through grade 5, under the supervision of Music Staff. Rehearsals on Wednesdays 5:15-6:00 PM September through May. Choirs sing in worship several times yearly and in special programs and musicals. Music reading ability necessary. Teaching experience helpful.

Children’s Sunday School Music Leader – Help lead Children’s Sunday School assembly 10:00-10:15 AM as song leader or instrumentalist. Two groups meet separately: ages 4 and grades K-5th.

Handbell Choir – Rehearse on Sundays 5:30-6:45 PM September through May. Ring in worship and other programs bimonthly. Some music reading ability necessary.

Instrumentalist – Participate in occasional special music in worship and other programs. String, woodwind, brass, keyboard and percussion instruments welcome. Some performance experience helpful.

Ladies’ Chorus – Meet twice monthly on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 AM. Chorus sings in worship and goes regularly to sing in nursing homes and health facilities. No audition is required. Music reading ability helpful but not necessary.

Men’s Chorus – Rehearse on Sundays 7:00-8:00 PM for one month four times yearly in preparation for singing in worship and other programs. No audition is required. Music reading ability helpful but not necessary.

Organist – Lead hymn singing and provide other music during services when staff organist is unavailable or special needs arise. Some performance experience required.

Pianist – Lead hymn singing and participate in worship services and programs when staff pianist is unavailable or special needs arise. Some performance experience necessary.

Actor/Actress – Perform as cast in a specific role or as chorus member. Auditions in March or early April.

Advertising – Sell program space to businesses, groups and individuals. Provide ads to print in programs. No experience is necessary.

Costuming/Sewing – Help in all stages of making costumes and preparing fabrics. Experience is helpful.

Dancer – Perform as cast in a specific role or as chorus member. Auditions in March or early April.

Dinner Crew – Help at performances with preparing tables, serving food and kitchen cleanup. No experience is necessary.

Programs – Design program booklet in cooperation with Music Director and Advertising Chair. Oversee printing of programs. Computer skills are necessary.

Publicity – Communicate with local media, providing news releases, radio spots, articles, etc. Prepare and distribute posters. Experience is helpful.

Set Construction and Painting – Includes woodworking, painting (both functional and artistic) and manual labor. Experience is helpful.

Singer – Perform as cast in a specific role or as chorus member. Auditions in March or early April.

Sound/Lighting Crew – Includes handling sound and light equipment, operating sound and light systems and helping to coordinate technical aspects of the show. Experience not necessary, but technical and electrical abilities are helpful.

Stage Crew – Work backstage to prepare and change sets, scenery and props. No experience is necessary.

Stage/Set Design – Help in designing sets and scenery. Experience in theatrical design, architecture and/or visual arts helpful.

Ticket Sales - Sell tickets on some weekdays and take phone orders beginning in late June. Assign table locations and help greet patrons at performances. No experience is necessary.
