Pleasant, S.C. July 9-13; KFC to Lake Junaluska, 6th-8th Grade Retreat. July 12-19; ASP; 10th-12th Graders Home Repair Ministry in Appalachia. Our 13th year with them. July 14-18; Adventure Camp; Elementary Age Day Camp July 14-17; Pre-School Camp July 20-25; KFC Mission Work Camp, Site Will be Determined July 27 - August 1; Senior High to Deep Creek : Camping, Rafting, and Talking to God July 29 - August 5; Tapachula, Mexico Mission Trip for College Students and Adults. August 3-9; College Katrina Relief in Mississippi and Florida Beach Retreat. October 13; The Pumpkin Patch is coming! All help is needed! Bring your whole family as we unload a truck of big and little pumpkins. Help is also needed to help supervise the patch during the coming weeks. Sign up to help with Marjo in the church office. KFC…This Friday is the KFC camp out. Don’t miss this fun night at the MacGuire’s home. This Sunday KFC will be under the direction of Bill Simmons. Come ready for anything. This Sunday UMYF will be focused on missions. Our Summer of 2008 is already full with dates. We will lead a time of commitment as sign-ups begin for ASP and for the 9th grade home repair work with the United Methodist Relief Agency in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. You must be there to get your paperwork. ASP is limited to 5 teams or 25 youth and 10 adults. The seniors will sign-up this week, followed by all 10th and 11th graders. Next Sunday, Oct. 14, we will be hearing Celia Whitler in concert. We will eat and share at the Isle of Hope Marina. Bring a friend! |
