To provide for those who are interested in pursuing ministry, the opportunity to receive practical experience in student ministry through Isle of Hope United Methodist Church’s Family Ministry programs. The goal of the internship is to provide a learning and faith-forming environment, helping the intern gain skills and experience which are essential to serving in Family Ministries in a church and para-church environment and would assist in their development to serve in future ministry opportunities. The purpose of the IOHUMC Family Ministry is to create a community where students can connect with Christ to become rooted in Him, filled with His Spirit, and be prepared to pour into the lives of others. The goal of our ministry is defined by our mission statement: “To make disciples of Jesus Christ''.
