The Christ Child’s Nest is an orphanage in Guatemala overseen by two Catholic nuns who provide love and excellent care for almost 50 children who currently live there, many of whom are differently-abled. Isle of Hope UMC is the primary source of funding for their daily living expenses. Through our sponsorship program and the annual Missions budget, we support "The Nest" on a consistent monthly basis. Annual trips to Guatemala to visit The Christ Child's Nest & Transitions Foundation are amazing opportunities to work with our other partners in the Anitgua area. Teams usually go in November or February.
