America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia is a locally inspired, volunteer-driven nonprofit food bank and community-partnering organization. It works diligently to feed the hungry by distributing nutritious food to nonprofit agencies and at-risk elderly and youth. The programs included at Second Harvest are Brown Bag for the Elderly, Grace's Kitcen, Kids Cafe, Mobile Food Pantry, and Partner Distribution.
The IOHUMC liaison arranges opportunities for groups to go to the agency located off President's Street and sort and pack food for their various ministries. To volunteer, contact missions@iohumc.com.
