Mary’s Place has both immediate and ongoing volunteer opportunities.
Help is needed on Saturday, September 12, sometime after 2:00 PM to pack giveaway bags at Our Lady of Lourdes ahead of the Hispanic Networking Resource Fair on Sunday, September 13. The exact time will be announced, and everyone is welcome to help!
Mary’s Place is also seeking Crisis Line Advocates and Hospital Advocates. Crisis Line Advocates provide confidential support from home during flexible six-hour on-call shifts. Hospital Advocates work alongside medical professionals and law enforcement to support survivors and their loved ones at area hospitals. Volunteers may choose shifts that fit their schedules after completing the required training.
