Provides Monthly Brown Bags Filled With Food

Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, Inc. serves women, children, and families in our community. Wesley's Early Childhood Education and Development Center serves children ages 1-4 and is nationally accredited through NAEYC. Wesley also operates and manages the Lady Bamford Center for Early Childhood Development. The organization has several other programs including crisis intervention, quilting classes, and a summer youth arts program, all of which operate out of their Women’s Center.

The Isle of Hope UMC church family collects food items in the white bins in the main church hallway and has groups that regularly help pack the brown bags at Wesley. Items commonly needed are peanut butter, soup, rice, cereal, and canned meats (chicken, tuna, vienna sausages, etc.).
