Many of the problems in the church today are basically struggles with bridging the hermeneutical gap — with moving from the “then and there” of the original text to the “here and now” of our own life settings.

Therefore, we are starting a new book study designed to help believers wrestle with the questions of application. Led by Rev. Meg Procopio, Bill Hagan, and John Lientz, we will study How to Read the Bible for All It’s Worth by Gordon D. Fee.

This study will meet on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am starting on September 22 and run until November 3. We will meet in Room 18.

Registration for this event has now closed. Please email Meg Procopio at mprocopio@iohumc.com to be placed on the waitlist.
