Every client enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program receives a hot midday meal that provides one-third of the daily nutritional requirements. Volunteers who regularly deliver also provide the gift of personal contact to homebound persons.
IOHUMC volunteers are responsible for the Isle of Hope area every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. The meals are picked up at the church between 10:30 AM – 11:15 PM. The delivery route usually takes a maximum of one and a half hours to complete.
