Josh Roberts

Josh was appointed as the Senior Pastor of the Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in January of 2026.  A native of Walton County, GA, Josh holds degrees from The University of Georgia (Bachelor of Arts in Sociology) and from Emory’s Candler School of Theology (Master of Divinity).  Josh was ordained as an elder in the North Georgia Conference in June of 2013.  Currently, Josh serves as a member of the North Georgia Conference Board of Ordained Ministry.  

Josh and Loren were married in November of 2006.  They have two children, James and Elizabeth.  

Throughout the year, you can find Josh cooking BBQ, and on Saturdays in the fall you will find him watching Georgia Football!
